What’s included in a certificate of compliance

It includes:
- The electrician’s name, business name, and license number

- Detailed information about the work performed
Your electrician will then date and sign the certificate, and issue you with a copy. In most cases, you will be able to request an online electrical certificate of compliance in order to keep a digital copy rather than a hard copy.
Your electrician must be able to provide you with a Certificate upon request. For recent electrical work, you can go back to your electrician to request one, and they have 30 days to provide it.
